Below are select services in which I have maintained a working practice and study. I challenge the notion of expertise within a field where creatives are constantly shifting, growing and innovating, but I dedicate myself to the work and craft of poetry, performance, and narrative power building and would love to share and create with you! If there is something you are looking for that does not quite fit the services listed below, please provide details of the request, and I can either curate a custom service or refer you to another brilliant teaching artist.

Poetry Feature (In-Person/Virtual)
I provide 15-60+ minute poetry readings/performances of my original work both in-person and through virtual platforms. Creative Writing Workshop
I facilitate both youth and adult 60-90 minute generative workshops that often showcases BIPOC writers and artists. My workshops range from being craft-focused to primarily experiential, but always fun! Please visit my CV for past listings of workshops in the ABOUT page.
Artist Talk/Class Visit
All of my features, talks, and workshops can be scaled for primary, secondary, and higher education audiences, as well as multigenerational and/or community spaces. Always happy to talk about my work and practice.

I provide custom poems for a range of needs: conferences, funerals, wedding vows, shows and performances. These can be written for the page and for the stage.

You’re always welcome to invite me to a panel, podcast, or Q&A session for topics in conversation with my work and practice. My current focuses are Afrofuturism, community organizing, narrative power, and poetic approaches to language justice.

This service sets the tone for any conference, college/university event, and corporate/commercial settings. Integrating poetry and speech writing to amplify your core theme, this keynote is an innovative approach to an address that is sure to enthuse audiences. Event Hosting/Moderation
If you need a host for a poetry or literature event, a moderator for a literary panel, or a poet-emcee, this service is for you.
Copyediting
I provide spelling/grammar and structure/outline services for essays, articles, short manuscripts and other writings.
I do not provide manuscript consultations or poem edits as a service. I believe your precious works should be analyzed by an artist and/or peer who you trust.
Poetry Performance
Poetry is an exciting, heartfelt art form that people may simply want to taste. This service is for a poem to open or close an event, to integrate poetry into an otherwise straightforward function, or to offer a quick 3-5 minute feature to a new audience.
Often paired with a Poetry Commission.
Communications Strategy
